The restaurant offers Lebanese-inspired dishes.

The spectacular seafood restaurant, Ibn AlBahr, is expanding from Dubai to Abu Dhabi. The FACT Dining Award Dubai winner will open at Makers District, Reem Island. The opening date has not yet been confirmed, but here’s what we do know.

In Dubai, Ibn AlBahr can be found in Club Vista Mare on Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club. Ibn AlBahr Abu Dhabi will replace the now-closed Cove Beach. The location is in a serene spot and offers stunning sea views.

Ibn AlBahr Abu Dhabi

Ibn AlBahr Abu Dhabi will specialise in seafood and serve Middle Eastern cuisine. Drawing inspiration from Lebanon, the dishes are made with authentic flavours and freshly prepared ingredients. The Abu Dhabi menu has not yet been unveiled, but if the Dubai menu is anything to go by, diners are in for a treat.

The original menu at this fisherman-themed dining destination includes calamari, lobster, salads, shrimp, squid, soup, a raw bar, hot and cold bait, and small and big catches. Hot and cold bait includes Eggplant Pomegranate, Hummus with Mohammara, and Whole Baked Cauliflower. Soups include Lobster Bisque, Saffron and Orange Mussels, and Seafood Soup. Salads include Garden Salad, Spicy Olive Salad, and Thyme Salad.

Speciality dishes include Fish Curry, Fish Majbous, Paella, and Sayadiyeh. Sharing trays include a Seafood Tower and the Ultimate Shellfish Tray. The catch of the day is displayed at the counter, and different cooking methods and side sauces are available. Each catch is served with tahini, lemon, garlic, and olive oil sauce.
