The homegrown Mediterranean restaurant is expanding, opening a new outpost at Al Qana.
It was just over two years ago that we raved about our experience at Terra, with its ingredient-driven dishes and focus on seasonality instantly drawing us in. It comes as no surprise to the FACT team, then, that the Mediterranean restaurant is now expanding, launching a new venue in the capital later this month.
The homegrown eatery is bringing its signature Mediterranean flavours and rustic ambience to the marine-inspired destination of Al Qana, where breathtaking views of the canal will be the proverbial cherry on top. Its soon-to-launch location promises diners a reimagined experience, bringing Terra’s classic dishes and mocktails – including the watermelon feta salad, spicy prawns, sticky date pudding, and Ananas Passion Punch – to a beloved destination.
The intricate show kitchen at Terra Abu Dhabi is defined by three volumes, seamlessly harmonises Terra’s architectural identity with its open and humble approach to gastronomy and culinary processes. Expect laidback lounge seating as well as elevated dining tables that invite guests to enjoy the space throughout the day. Incidentally, the restaurant is named after the Latin word for ‘earth.
Those new to the eatery can expect a coastal-inspired Mediterranean culinary collective that champions both the unorthodox and the extraordinary. Terra Abu Dhabi partners design and architecture in ways that embrace nature and, because it juxtaposes earthy features and lush greenery alongside contemporary elements, it represents Dubai’s unique urban culture — all the while benchmarking a gastronomical oasis that takes diners away from city stressors.
As for the new outpost? A symphony of rich gradients, glazed finishes, and an abundance of natural light will welcome guests upon entering the serene space nestled in Al Qana. It’s set to debut by the end of May.
