This year’s festival theme is especially significant. The festival showcases efforts to revitalise traditional Korean dance and music, seamlessly blending them with contemporary expression. Taking place from Friday, 27 October until Saturday, 28 October, the festival at the Umm Al Emarat Park promises an exciting lineup of performances that blend traditional and contemporary aspects of Korean culture.
Kicking off the festivities is a performance featuring Korean traditional music known as Pansori and Sanjo. Other acts include the Namwon City Art Troupe, an ensemble of Korean and Western instruments, and the Akh unit’s Taekwondo demonstration. For fans of K-pop, don’t forget to catch the electrifying concert featuring MustB and DIOS, promising an unforgettable night of music and dancing.
But the Korea Festival isn’t just about performances. There’s also a Korean Culture Experience Zone that offers you a chance to immerse yourself in Korean culture — from K-tourism and K-beauty to traditional clothing, games, and art workshops.
