Al Wathba, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa, Abu Dhabi is flexing its muscles. The desert retreat is famous for its outdoor experiences, wellness experiences and chilled snow room. Now, it’s offering a fantastic fitness experience, courtesy of the world-famous Barry’s and Beyond Wellness.
Taking place from 15 to 17 November amidst the desert dunes, the Al Wathba, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa, and Barry’s experience include a two-night stay, half-board dining, and access to all planned wellness and fitness activities.
Participants can recharge and reconnect in a serene environment where holistic well-being and luxury meet seamlessly. Barry’s, the original high-intensity interval training workout, is renowned for its signature Red Room experience, combining cardio and strength training for extraordinary results, whilst Beyond Wellness offers transformative wellness experiences designed to align body, mind and spirit. Together, they create a dynamic approach to health, blending intense fitness with mindful movement, meditation and recovery practices.
The thoughtfully curated weekend itinerary begins on Friday, 15 November, with a soothing sound meditation and breathwork session led by Beyond Wellness. Following this, guests will enjoy a welcome dinner at Terra Secca, Al Wathba’s authentic Italian trattoria. On Saturday, 16 November, Barry’s trainers will energise guests with outdoor activities to kickstart the day, followed by a healthy cooking class in the afternoon. Between activities, guests can relax by the serene poolside or embark on desert adventures such as archery or Desert Crawlers, fully immersing themselves in the natural surroundings.
Barry’s is famous for its HIIT classes, which challenge your limits and deliver results. The brand has A-list fans including Ellie Goulding, David Beckham and Guy Ritchie. Fun fact: they all once turned up to a class at the same time. Barry’s has recently run similar events in AlUla, Saudi Arabia.
