Expect creativity, colour and culture at this waterfront wonder.
If there’s one thing the UAE doesn’t lack, it’s a packed calendar of cultural events. With several arts festivals occurring throughout the year, another one has just made its debut, promising a fresh and exciting experience to explore. Get ready to welcome the Bluewaters Art Festival.
Set against the backdrop of Ain Dubai, this is the first edition of the Bluewaters Art Festival. Taking place from 12 to 20 April, the festival promises a celebration of creativity, connection, and culture that will transform the island into an open-air gallery.

The inaugural edition of the Bluewaters Art Festival is themed ‘Reconnect’. The idea is to bridge gaps between cultures, generations, people, and even between art and audience. It brings over 23 artists from around the world, to showcase their unique style and stories.
As part of the Bluewaters Arts Festival, you can expect to see more than 20 murals, sculptures, artworks and fabric installations. Some of these include works by Areen Hassan with sensory installations inspired by her Palestinian roots and Kaveh Ahanger’s digital murals. There’s going to be a mix of outdoor pieces as well as indoor experiences for you to truly soak in the artsy vibes.
Bluewaters Arts Festival isn’t just for art lovers. During the weekend, it will host a lineup of workshops, performances, talks and interactive sessions for adults as well as children. From fluid bear painting to air-dry clay art, there’s tons to do. To join the workshops, all you need to do is spend AED 150 at any Bluewaters venue and show your receipt.
So make your way to Bluewaters Arts Festival and explore this colourful event with breathtaking views of Ain Dubai and the waterfront charm. We’ll see you there!
