The first Hatta Farming Festival is coming to the UAE. Running from 23 to 27 February at Hatta Hall, it aims to make farming fun. The event brings together small business owners showcasing their products, and celebrates the rich agricultural in the region.
During the festival, visitors can join educational workshops, tours of heritage sites, and sample dishes from local businesses. The festival features more than 25 workshops on sustainability subjects including security, water purification, diverting food from landfill and growing your own food. Guests can also learn how to keep animals, from chickens to goats, and join hands-on activities, from nature-themed drawing to storytelling workshops.
The festival brings together 20 local farmers and livestock farms, which showcase vegetables, fruits, eggs and jam. Farmers can show off their skills in competitions, which include categories from Best Productive Farm to Best Productive Barn. Plus, there are six food trucks and pop-up cafes.

The first Hatta Farming Festival is an exciting celebration of our natural surroundings and marks an important step in our mission to empower and preserve the local agricultural industry. We look forward to bringing visitors of all ages together at this one-of-a-kind event, fostering a connection between our community and the natural world.”
