Wiz Khalifa hails from North Dakota, United States. He was born Cameron Jibril Thomaz, and his stage name Khalifa derives from the Arabic word for successor and wisdom. Plus, his grandad is a Muslim and gave him the nickname.

The rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor Wiz Khalifa gained widespread recognition with his breakthrough single Black and Yellow, an anthem celebrating his city’s sports teams. Khalifa’s career soared with the release of his major-label debut album, Deal or No Deal.

Wiz Khalifa’s most recognisable achievement is the chart-topping hit See You Again, a heartfelt tribute to the late Paul Walker featured in the Furious 7 soundtrack. His unique blend of laid-back charisma and introspective lyrics will be on display at Coca-Cola Arena Dubai.
