British rapper Central Cee has recently announced the dates for his Can’t Rush Greatness world tour. While he won’t be stopping in the Middle East, fans can still see the superstar rapper live in Dubai. Following his performance in April last year, Central Cee will return to SKY2.0 in Dubai Design District this weekend for a one-off show on Saturday, February 15.
Central Cee, real name Oakley Caesar-Sue, hails from Ladbroke Grove, London. He is of Chinese and Guyanese origin. When he was young, his father introduced him to American hip-hop music, and Notting Hill Carnival introduced him to dancehall and reggae. At 17 years old, he headlined his first show at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen in London. In 2020, he rose to fame with the songs Day in the Life and Loading.
In 2021, his first mixtape, Wild West, debuted at number two in the UK Album Charts. The rapper of the moment is known for his chart-topping hits, including Doja and Sprinter, a collaboration with fellow UK rapper Dave. In January 2025, he released his debut studio album, Can’t Rush Greatness.
Central Cee has won multiple awards throughout his career. At the MOBO Awards, he won for Best Newcomer, Best Drill Act, Best Male Act, Song of the Year, and Video of the Year. He has also modelled for rapper Drake’s Nike X Nocta collection.
The rapper is no stranger to the UAE. In 2023, he performed at Wireless Festival Middle East in Abu Dhabi, where he shared the stage with American rapper Travis Scott. The event marked the debut of the London-born festival in the region.
Tickets to see Central Cee in Dubai are available now from AED 499 (including one beverage).
