Loading complete. British rapper Central Cee is bringing his combination of drill and grime music to the UAE. The star has announced that he will be performing at SKY2.0 in Dubai Design District. The show takes place on 20 April, and tickets to see Central Cee in Dubai are available now.
Central Cee, real name Oakley Caesar-Sue, hails from Ladbroke Grove, London. He is of Chinese and Guyanese origin. When he was young, his father introduced him to American hip-hop music, and Notting Hill Carnival introduced him to dancehall and reggae.
Now, Central Cee is 25 years old and has already made a name for himself in the music industry. In 2020, he released the singles Day in the Life and Loading. In 2021, his mixtape Wild West reached number two in the UK Albums Chart. Plus, his chart-topping hits include Doja and Sprinter, a collaboration wil fellow UK rapper Dave.
Central Cee has won multiple awards throughout his career. At the MOBO Awards, he won for Best Newcomer, Best Drill Act, Best Male Act, Song of the Year, and Video of the Year. He has also modelled for rapper Drake’s Nike X Nocta collection.
Central Cee is no stranger to the UAE. He previously performed at Wireless Festival Middle East, which took place in Abu Dhabi. He hit the stage with American rapper Travis Scott. The event marked the debut of the London-born festival in the region.
Tickets to see Central Cee in Dubai are available now. AED 500 tickets include three drinks. Bar stool tickets require a minimum spend of AED 1,000.
