The controversial rapper shared dates on social media.

American rapper Kanye West – who also goes by the name Ye – has been spotted across the Middle East, from Saudi Arabia to the UAE. Now, he shared a list of potential tour dates, and he might just be performing in Dubai.

Kanye shared a story to his Instagram account on Wednesday, 7 February indicating that he could be performing at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai on 29 and 30 November. Over 2024, the rapper has been seen in Dubai, which has led to rumours about him moving to the city. He has been seen staying (dining and partying) at Atlantis The Royal and held listening parties for his upcoming album, Vultures

Kanye was spotted at Atlantis The Royal’s Ling Ling and Nobu By The Beach. He gave Chef Nobu a pair of his shoes. He was also seen at Dubai Mall and performed at BLU Dubai with fellow rappers Lil Durk and Ty Dolla $ign. Plus, he was seen meeting with The Giving Movement’s founder, Dominic Nowell-Barnes.

Kanye has also been seen in Saudi Arabia. He visited the Battle of the Baddest at Boulevard Hall Stadium in Riyadh. Plus, he was scheduled to play at MDLBeast Soundstorm in December 2023, but the concert was later cancelled.

Kanye hails from Atlanta, Georgia, and grew up in Chicago, Illinois. He first rose to fame as a producer working for Jay Z’s record label, Roc-A-Fella. In 2003, he released his first album, The College Dropout, and gained critical and commercial success. He has sold more than 160 million records and won 24 Grammy Awards. After his controversial comments in 2022, he has been dropped by collaborators including adidas, Balenciaga and Gap.
