The electronic music festival is scheduled to take place in April 2024
Hold onto your glow sticks, the electronic music festival Elrow XXL is coming to Dubai. The festival is scheduled to take place on 13 April 2024 at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre and looks set to be a must-visit rave.
Elrow (minus the XXL) has taken place before at Dubai’s Soho Garden in Meydan, while Elrow XXL took over Dubai Design District in February 2023. The next edition is expected to be, well, going large. DJ Fisher, real name Paul Nicholas Fisher, hails from Queensland, Australia. His hits include Crowd Control, Oi Oi, Stop It and Ya Didn’t. Over his career, he has been nominated for an ARIA Award and a Grammy Award.
There aren’t many festivals in the world that can claim they have a 150-year-old history, but Elrow has a quirky origin story. Jose Satorres, who was born in Fraga, Spain, is the founder behind the festival. While Jose was doing military service, he discovered cabarets and cultivated his love of music. In 1870 he opened Café Jospet, a social club that would form the beginnings of what is now a worldwide festival.
Today, Elrow is a magical music festival, which showcases the best of electronic music. Across the globe, the festival has taken place in cities ranging from Amsterdam to London. Tickets for Elrow XXL are on sale now, and early bird tickets have sold out.
