American hitmakers Green Day are set to perform for the first time in the Middle East. The talented trio will take over Expo City in Dubai, UAE on 27 January, 2025. So, if you’re a fan of the punk group, here’s how to get hold of tickets.

Green Day will perform in a purpose-built open-air stadium, which can accommodate 30,000 people. The landmark show will see the group perform their old and new hits. Plus, they will be supported by the American rock group, The Offspring.

Green Day said: “We are pumped to perform in the Middle East for the very first time. We have so many loyal fans all around the world, and we can’t wait to rock with them in the Middle East in the New Year.”

Thomas Ovesen, CEO, All Things Live Middle East, added: “Green Day need no introduction, they are without doubt one of the most requested rock bands in our region and we are thrilled to be bringing them to the UAE for their first show in the Middle East. My advice to those fans wishing to watch this historic event is to book your tickets early, because we fully expect this show to sell out.”

In 1986, Green Day was formed in California, United States. Over the years, the line-up has changed, and the upcoming concert will include Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool. The group has sold more than 75 million records worldwide. Their hit songs include American Idiot, Boulevard of Broken Dreams and Wake Me Up When September Ends. Plus, Good Riddance (Time of Your Life), which is often played at the end of their concerts.

Green Day has won five Grammy Awards, six MTV Europe Music Awards, two BRIT Awards, six Billboard Music Awards, and 11 MTV Video Music Awards. The group has also been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Plus, their songs were turned into the musical American Idiot, which was performed on Broadway in New York and the West End in London.

Pre-sale tickets to see Green Day in Dubai will be available at 10am on 9 May. General tickets will be available at 10am on 10 May.
