The siblings will be singing their nineties hits.
Get ready to be left breathless. The Irish hitmakers, The Corrs, are making their way to Dubai. The group will perform on 6 February at Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai. If you want to relive some nineties nostalgia, here’s how to get hold of tickets.
The Corrs hail from County Louth, Ireland. The group is made up of four siblings, and the name of the band is derived from their surname. The group consists of Andrea on lead vocals; Sharon on violin and keyboard; Caroline on drums, percussion and piano; and Jim on guitar, piano and keyboard. They started out by playing at a relative’s pub, and appeared in the film, The Commitments.
The Corrs are famous for their mix of celtic, folk and pop rock. In 1995, they released their debut album Forgiven, Not Forgotten. The singles included Runaway and The Right Time. In 1997, they released the album Talk On Corners, which achieved worldwide success and made them pop rock stars. Produced by Glenn Ballad, it included the singles Dreams, So Young and What Can I Do?
Over their career, The Corrs have received two Grammy Award nominates, a BRIT Award and were awarded an honorary MBE for their contribution to music. Plus, the band members have pursued solo projects, and now reunited for a tour.
