Get ready to swoon. The Irish hitmaker, Ronan Keating, is coming to Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium in Al Garhoud on Saturday, 11 November. If you love big ballads and boybands, then get ready for some serious nostalgia.  

Ronan Keating hails from Dublin, Ireland. He comes from humble beginnings, as his dad was a lorry driver and his mum was a hairdresser. After responding to an advert in an Irish newspaper, he auditioned for a new boyband, Boyzone. The group were created by the manager, Louis Walsh, who was looking for the Irish version of Take That. 

In 1993, Boyzone formed and went on to have worldwide success. In the UK, the group scored six number-one singles and five number-one albums. The group’s hit songs include A Different Beat, Love Me For Reason and Picture Of You. 

In 1999, Ronan went solo and his hit songs include Life Is A Rollercoaster, The Way You Make Me Feel and When You Say Nothing At All. With the group, he sold more than 25 million records, and as a solo artist, he has sold more than 20 million records. 

If you love the nineties and boybands, then you’re in for a treat. The Irish Village presents The Boys Are Back In Town at Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium on 13 October, Robbie Williams will perform in the Etihad Arena on 18 October, and Westlife will perform in Abu Dhabi on 27 October.
