The one-off show showcases the beautiful traditions of Arab and Greek music.

Dubai’s concert lineup for the year features performances by some of the biggest stars in the world, from Carla Bruni to Sophie Ellis-Bextor. While the pop and EDM scene is going to be buzzing in the city, classical music fans are in for a treat as Guy Manoukian makes his triumphant return to Dubai.

Taking place on Sunday, 3 November, Dubai Opera will host a special performance by the renowned pianist and composer Guy Manoukian. Known for his spellbinding performances, Guy Manoukian is bringing his concert, A Tale of Two Shores, to the stage, offering a journey through the beautiful traditions of Arab and Greek music.

A Tale of Two Shores promises a cultural celebration. The performance brings a fusion of Guy Manoukian’s piano skills with the soulful sounds of Greece and the richness of Arabic tunes. Joining him on this magical night are three extraordinary Greek musicians, Thanassis Vassilopoulos on the clarinet, Thanos Giouletzis on the violin, and Andreas Karantinis on the bouzouki. Together, they will bring a night of enchanting melodies that are sure to leave the audience in awe.

For those unfamiliar with Guy Manoukian, he’s a Lebanese-Armenian pianist who began his musical journey at the age of four. He spent his early years honing his craft, which led him to perform at prestigious venues around the world, such as the Sydney Opera House. Some of his most famous tracks include Alf Rooh, Harem, and Noritz.

Guy Manoukian has performed in Dubai before. The composer headlined a sold-out show in the city in March this year, where he mesmerised a massive crowd. The upcoming concert will mark his fourth appearance in Dubai.
