Scottish singer and songwriter KT Tunstall is heading to Dubai. The hitmaker will perform at Bla Bla Dubai on Wednesday, 16 October. If you’d like to catch the concert, here’s what you need to know.
KT Tunstall, real name Kate Victoria, was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. She is of Chinese and Scottish descent and grew up in St Andrews. Long before Ed Sheeran was showing off his skills on the loop pedal, she captivated crowds on the TV show, Later… With Jools Holland. In 2004, she performed her song Black Horse and the Cherry Tree and used the recorder to input her own voice, guitar and percussion, and interweave the sounds together. The performance helped propel her to success in the United Kingdom and across the world.
KT Tunstall’s hit songs include Hold On, Other Side of the World, and Suddenly I See. She released her first studio album in 2004, which was Eye to the Telescope. Over her career, she has released eight studio albums. Plus, she has been nominated for a BRIT Award, Grammy Award and a Mercury Music Prize.
KT Tunstall will be performing inside The Tent at Bla Bla Dubai. It’s a rare chance to watch the singer in a serene setting, which has welcomed some of the biggest stars. Previous performers at Bla Bla Dubai include OneRepublic and Sugababes.
Tickets to see KT Tunstall in Dubai are available from 12pm on Thursday, 25 April. Early bird tickets start from AED 150, and general admission tickets start from AED 199.
