For those unfamiliar with his comedic genius, Al Murray is one of Britain’s most celebrated stand-up comedians. Born in Buckinghamshire, his comedy career took off in the early 1990s, but it was his creation of the character, The Pub Landlord that catapulted him to fame. Dubai, it’s time to have a laugh. The British comedian Guz Khan will be making his way to Dubai Opera. Guz hails from Coventry, England. He was born into a Pakistani family, and went from being a teacher to a comedian. He started his career in comedy by uploading videos onto YouTube. In 2015, he performed on the BBC Asian Network’s Big Comedy Night. In 2017, he released the BBC comedy series, Man Like Mobeen. Over his career, Guz has appeared in the films Army of Thieves, Finding Fatimah, The Bubble and Walk Like a Panther; and the Netflix shows The Gentlemen and Turn Up Charlie.
