The fashionable spot offers cakes, coffees and ice cream.

Fashion and food combine at the new Maison Margiela cafe. Located in Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates, the venue is a chic café for cakes and coffee. So, if you’re looking for some Insta-worthy drinks and desserts, here’s what you need to know.

The Maison Margiela café is located near the Maison Margiela store as a pop-up. The decor boasts a muted, minimalist design, while soft lounge seats come in cream, and are accompanied by round wooden tables. The space is punctuated by potted plants, which add a touch of green.

The Maison Margiela café offers limited-edition coffees, pastries and desserts. The menu spans a bakery, cake display, plated desserts and ice cream. The bakery includes croissants, from cream cheese and honey to zaatar. The cake display includes Hidden Riches with salted caramel and gold leaf, and Tabi Cake with cardamon and pistachio. The plated desserts include the Bianchetto Tiramisu with white chocolate and mascarpone, and Crème Duvet with banana.

Maison Margiela is a Parisian haute couture fashion brand. In 1988, the brand was launched by the Belgian fashion designer, Martin Margiele. He was inspired by the idea of not conforming and subverting the norms. The collections aim to be dynamic yet unconventional, and help wearers express an authentic version of themselves. The brand creates clothing and accessories for men and women, and a gender-neutral collection. Over the years, Maison Margiela’s Creative Designers have included John Galliano and Glenn Martens.

The brand has been named checked in rap songs from Future and Metro Boomin, while Kanye West famously spat the line: “What’s That Jacket, Margiela?” on In Paris, his 2011 collab with Jay-Z.
