Dubai, a new restaurant is opening in the city. Alusia brings together Levantine and Andalusian cuisine. Located in Jumeirah Islands Pavilion, it boasts a beautiful waterfront location, and here’s what to expect.
Alusia in Dubai can accommodate up to 90 people in its indoor and outdoor spaces. The indoor space spans 94 square metres, and the terrace spans 174 square metres. The design includes Spanish influences with traditional terracotta tiles adorning the floors and walls, distressed mirrors, an olive tree mural, and even a stone oven flown in from the country.
Innovision Holding is behind the new concept, and is also behind concepts from Brunch & Cake to Canary Club. Amjad Barakat and Jamal Wick, Founders of Innovision Holding, explained: “At Alusia, our mission is to create an unparalleled dining experience where the essence of Levantine cuisine takes centre stage, complemented by carefully curated Spanish influences. We aim to foster memorable moments and social connections by serving our community and guests with authenticity, passion, and a commitment to culinary excellence. We envision Alusia as a place where culinary traditions are revered, innovation is celebrated, and every guest is part of our extended family.”
The menu at Alusia in Dubai celebrates the cuisine and culture of Andalusia and the Levant. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the dishes are superb for sharing and include tapas. The hot and cold tapas include Globe Artichoke, Freekah Risotto, Padron Peppers, Sauteed Gambas and Wagyu Shawarma. The seafood and meat dishes include Lamb Chops, Paella De Marisco and Paella Negra. The desserts include Alusia Cheesecake and Kunafa. Plus, the signature beverages range from non-alcoholic sangria to mocktails.
