The restaurant promises an alfresco experience by the sea.

Dubai is always buzzing with new restaurant openings during the winter season. This cooler setting creates the perfect backdrop for exploring the emirate’s culinary scene. And now, yet another restaurant has opened its doors (literally) in Dubai called Blue Door.

Located within the Delano Dubai Hotel at Bluewaters Island, Blue Door restaurant sits on the shoreline, making it an ideal spot for a memorable meal with a view. Get ready to indulge in fine Anatolian cuisine that is as delightful as the restaurant’s waterfront views.

Blue Door

Situated outdoors, this seating area is a garden-like haven that feels both chic and relaxed. Plush white seating contrasts beautifully with the greenery, keeping the design clean and minimalist so the food takes centre stage. That blue door, surrounded by a bush, adds a touch of Alice in Wonderland whimsy. This sets the tone for a Mediterranean-inspired meal by the sea.

Blue Door

Blue Door celebrates the rich culinary traditions of Coastal Anatolia, offering a mix of Turkish. Expect the likes of salads, mezze, and grilled meats that pack a punch. Curated by Chef Zulfikar Cambaz, the menu masterfully blends tradition and innovation. Dishes like Bosphorus Ahtapot, marinated octopus with rosemary and olive oil, and Levrek-i Safran, citrus-cured seabass with pomegranate seeds, showcase fresh, vibrant Anatlioan flavours.

Main courses include Ali Nazik, roasted lamb with charcoal-grilled eggplant and yoghurt, while the Arap Tava casserole of beef, vegetables, and pita bread delivers rustic comfort. For a lighter option, the Salt-Crusted Seabass delights with delicate flavours.

Desserts add a playful twist to tradition, from the Kebab Style Künefe, with shredded phyllo, pistachio, and strawberry rose jam, to the indulgent Baklava Sundae, layered with pistachio ice cream and honey.

Blue Door joins an impressive lineup of restaurants at the Delano Dubai. You can also choose to dine at Tutto Passa, known for its Italian flair, the Rose Bar, or the Slavic-Parisian-inspired Maison Revka. The hotel is also home to the beautiful La Cantine Beach, meaning each venue offers its own distinct vibe.

Blue Door

So, if you’re a Dubai resident or just passing through the city, Blue Door restaurant promises a dining experience that feels like a mini vacation. With its waves and the promise of impeccable Turkish cuisine, this venue is poised to promise an elegant culinary escape under the stars.
