Chef Izu’s Adaline brings 1920s decadence to Dubai

Located in DIFC, the restaurant will open in October.

Chef Izu is behind some of Dubai’s greatest dining destinations. Now, he is bringing a glamorous dinner and a show to DIFC. Adaline draws inspiration from the roaring 1920s and looks set to be a supper club-style experience with live entertainment. Scheduled to open in October, here’s what to expect.

Adaline aims to blend classic charm with contemporary flair and reimagine the dinner party. The new concept was created by Fundamental Hospitality, a leader in Dubai’s dining scene and behind the restaurants Alaya, Gaia, and Shanghai Me.

Chef Izu Ani’s food and drink menu pays homage to Italy. He explained: “At Adaline, we are shaping an experience that brings the soul of Italy to Dubai. The menu is a tribute to the timeless elegance of Italian cuisine, where every dish tells a story. Every detail is designed to leave a lasting impression.”

Guided by its team of expert mixologists, the drinks menu at Adaline pays tribute to traditional Italian aperitifs and timeless cocktails. Music is also central to the Adaline experience, with live performances that seamlessly blend jazz, modern soul, and iconic hits from the 1990s and 2000s.

Studio ABM is behind Adaline’s interior, which will be a nod to the glitz of the Jazz Age. The restaurant is located close to the Gate Village valet in DIFC and was formally a car park.
