The dining experience kicks off on 25 May.

It’s getting hot in the kitchen. Chef Jesse Blake is participating in the culinary event, One Night Stands in RARE Dubai. The experience showcases daring dining and Middle Eastern flavours. The next event will take place at the sophisticated City Walk steakhouse on 25 May and will include two seatings, from 6.30pm to 9pm. 

Chef Jesse Blake hails from Aotearoa, New Zealand, and he has worked as a chef in Dubai at Lowe and Eye Heart Rabbit. One Night Stands in Dubai sees Chef Jesse Blake collaborate with a range of experts in the restaurant industry. The line-up will change with bartenders, chefs and winemakers, each bringing their own expertise to the table.  

One Night Stands in Dubai

The upcoming menu spans starters, mains and desserts. The starters include Kibbeb Nayyeh with red peppers; La Gilda with seared tuna; and Oxtail Croquettes. The mains include Ink Rice with smoked mussels; Rib, Tongue and Rump Skewer; and Rocca and Zaatar Salad with radish and walnuts. The desserts include Nabulsi Cheese Gelato, and Sour Apple and Cucumber Sorbet. 

RARE restaurant prides itself on its steaks, and blends together New York flair with Parisian brasseries. The menu is divided into nibbles, oysters and caviar, appetisers, steaks, mains and desserts, Dishes include Bone Marrow on Toast with pickled onion and mushroom, Burrata with tomato and fig relish, and Ox Tongue Salad with smoked tomato.
