TABŪ‘s Head of Culinary has opened a new restaurant on The Palm.
There’s a new Peruvian restaurant in town. The award-winning chef, Roberto Segura, has opened La Barra. Located in Nakheel Mall’s Depachika food hall on The Palm, it is a celebration of Latin American food.
La Barra in Dubai aims to offer an authentic Peruvian journey. The concept is inspired by traditional Peruvian cuisine and showcases a fusion of indigenous ingredients and international influences. Plus, the venue has a relaxed vibe – look out for the open kitchen, so you can watch the chefs at work.
Roberto Segura hails from Peru. He first worked in one of Lima’s top Peruvian restaurants, Bravo Restobar. Over his career, he has been trained by celebrity chefs, from Christian Bravo to Richard Sandoval. He is also the Head of Culinary for TABŪ at The St. Regis Downtown Dubai where he combines modern Japanese cooking with live entertainment.
La Barra in Dubai’s menu includes Ceviche Clasico, Ceviche La Barra, Ceviche Simply Lucca, Ceviche Tuna Nikkei, Tiradito Chuchuito, Tiradito de Salmon Apasionado and Vegan Ceviche. The salads include Andean Quinoa Salad, Isabella Salad and Three Corn Salad. Plus, Beef Anticucho, Casua el Atlantico, Causa Cabo Blanco, Causa Santa Rosa, Chicken Anticucho, Papa a la Huancaina, Peruvian Roasted Chicken and Slow Brasied Short Rib Seco.
