The hip hangout is located in Umm Suqeim.

Something is brewing in Dubai. A cool café, concept store and collective hub, KONCRETE, has opened in Dubai. Located in Umm Suqeim, the hot hangout is already proving popular with locals, and is well worth checking out.

True to its name, KONCRETE has an industrial yet modern aesthetic. The décor boasts a minimalist vibe, from the muted colours to the use of textures. The entrance includes a discreet logo in white, and three phrases in black. The phrases “coffee house”, “concept store”, and “collective hub”, all in lowercase and with brackets, spell out what visitors can expect.

KONCRETE

KONCRETE’s interiors include floor-to-ceiling windows. The venue lets in lots of light, which is contrasted with the exposed ceiling piping, and grey as well as white walls. Plus, it is also home to an exhibition space, which will showcase local as well as global brands and pop-up shows.

KONCRETE has a cool community atmosphere. Visitors can choose from indoor and outdoor seating, which ranges from black chairs and soft sofas. Great for groups, the green semi-circle sofa is a superb spot to see and be seen.

KONCRETE

KONCRETE’s menu includes hot and cold drinks, which are all presented in hipster-friendly cups. The hot drinks range from a Cortado to Flat White. The cold drinks include a Cold Foam Americano, Belgium Brown, Dirty Chai Latte, Freddo, KONCRETE Smoothie, Lemongrass Fizz and Matcha Haven. The all-day toasties include the Avocado Charcoal, Pastrima, The Musakhan, Tuna Togarashi and VG Falafel.
