Cutfish Dubai: Japanese izakaya will open in Marsa Al Arab

The new restaurant can already be found in London and Moscow.

Dubai, we have some delicious news. Cutfish Sushi Bistro can already be found in London and Moscow, and is now opening a new concept in the UAE. The Japanese izakaya restaurant Cutfish Dubai is heading to Marsa Port, Jumeirah.

Founded by restauranteur Alexander Oganezov, this marks the brands first entry into the UAE. The restaurant sits beneath the soon-to-open Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab and the menu will include contemporary Japanese cuisine anchored around an izakaya experience. Plus, the venue boasts a modern setting overlooking the yachts at Marsa Port.

If the previous concepts are anything to go by, Dubai is in for a culinary treat. Cutfish Sushi Bistro London is located on Draycott Avenue, Sloane Square. The menu is superb for sharing and includes sushi rolls, Josper grill dishes, and beef, chicken as well as duck dishes.

Marsa Al Arab boasts views of Burj Al Arab and the Arabian Gulf. The area will also welcome a range of concepts including Meat The Fish, SALT and We Are Feels.

The Lebanese brand Meat The Fish is coming to Dubai and Jeddah. The original menu covers bowls, raw, salads, sandwiches, sharing and wraps. The specials include Miso Eggplant, Surfside Burger and Swag Burger.

The homegrown brand SALT has already opened a venue in Marsa Al Arab, and it’s a sleek spot. Lookout for the SALT logo, and the tag line “Feeling Salty” on the wall. It also offers a new addition in the form of the Mango Cheesecake Softie. Plus, We Are Feels is a smoothie and juice bar, which can already be found in Abu Dhabi and Riyadh.
