The concepts include a French Middle Eastern and MediterrAsian restaurant.

Dubai Opera is famous for welcoming world-class acts, from dancers to DJs. Now, it is set to welcome two brand-new restaurants, Alba and Bisou. Created by the hospitality group MetaFoodies Restaurants Management, here’s what to expect.

Little is currently known about the two new Dubai Opera restaurants, which will be perfect for a pre and post-show experience. Located in Downtown Dubai, the concepts currently only have hoarding outside the venue. Bisou means kiss in French, and the logo includes lips. The menu combines French and Middle Eastern influences. Alba means bright and fortunate in Latin, and includes a floral logo. The concept describes itself as a MediterrAsian restaurant.

Construction on the Dubai Opera building started in 2013, and it was completed in 2016. Designed by Janus Rostock Atkins, it resembles a traditional dhow boat. The bow of the structure is the main stage, and the hull is the waiting area. The arena spans 650,000 square feet and seats 2,000 people.

If you’re keen to add some culture to your life, make sure to visit Dubai Opera. Over the years, it has hosted a wide variety of live entertainment including ballet, concerts, fashion shows, theatre and exhibitions. The upcoming calendar includes Zimmer Vs. Williams on 23 September, Indian comedian Vir Das on 28 September, Royal Shakespeare Company’s Matilda The Musical from 3 to 12 October, David Gerrett’s ICON Tour on 26 October and Macbeth from 3 to 5 November.
