This hip hangout is ideal for a post-work apéritif or a night of revelry under the stars.
Dubai is home to world-class restaurants, from homegrown concepts to international names. Now, it is set to welcome Ruby Ru by Iris, and we’ve had a look inside ahead of the opening on Wednesday, 19 February 2025.
The award-winning Addmind Hospitality group is behind Ruby Ru by Iris, which is located on the second floor of Marriott Marquis Dubai, Jewel of the Creek—where old Dubai meets new. The Parisian-inspired cocktail bar channels the effortless elegance of a Montmartre café before bringing Iris’s electric energy to its elongated evening programme.
With an entrance framed by arched passageways and flowing textiles, Ruby Ru exudes a chic, laissez-faire charm. Inside, a symphony of rich textures—cool marble, warm wood, and plush fabrics—creates an inviting setting amidst fanning foliage. Yet it’s the 180-degree terrace with views of the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Creek, and the stunning skyline capture the attention.
At the heart of the dining experience is a French-Japanese menu that balances indulgence with sophistication. The Octopus Tiradito delivers a delicate interplay of citrus and spice, while the Wagyu Beef Sando is a decadent nod to Tokyo’s best sandwich shops. For those with a heartier appetite, the Japanese-style Hot Stone Steak and Whole Sea Bass are designed for slow, lingering meals accompanied by expertly mixed cocktails.

By day, Ruby Ru by Iris is a breezy retreat for leisurely lunches and golden-hour cocktails; by night, it transforms into a café du soir, where the sound of smooth beats sets the tone for an unforgettable evening.
The venue will launch with a lineup of events, including a daily golden-hour ritual from 4pm to 8pm with cocktail pitchers and select drinks at exceptional prices. A Thursday evening ladies’ night will offer free-flowing wine and cocktails for AED 120 between 7pm and 11pm. Ruby’s Brunch will host a Parisian-style feast from 1pm to 5pm on Saturdays, with signature cocktails, premium drinks, and a lively atmosphere.

Addmind Hospitality’s burgeoning portfolio includes Bar Du Port, Bebabel, CLAP, Iris and Sucre. The brand’s new openings include Al Mayass By The Sea and Le Relaise de L’Entrecote. Plus, upcoming openings in Dubai include Kira at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab.
Ruby Ru by Iris is open Sunday to Friday from 4pm to 2am and on Saturdays from 1pm to 2am.
