Could this café inspired by the TV show be any cooler?

The hit comedy TV show Friends has given the world memorable moments between six New Yorkers, and many of them were fuelled by coffee and food. Do you remember the one with the beef trifle shepherd’s pie, where Ross was Rachel’s lobster, or the birthday flan? If those references mean anything to you, then you’ll be excited to hear about the new Friends-inspired café Central Break in Dubai.

Central Break in Dubai draws its inspiration from the show’s coffee shop, Central Perk. While the original venue was located in New York near Central Park, the replica is located in Damac – Celestia A, Dubai South. The décor is Insta-ready and feels like it has come straight from the set, and includes the show and coffee shop’s logo.

Central Break in Dubai serves hot and cold drinks. The drinks include an Americano, Espresso, Flat White, Karak Tea, Latte and Turkish Coffee. Plus, there is a nod to the character Joey, who loves to eat and drink, with the aptly titled Joey’s Drink.

The food menu includes Friends-favourites, from pizzas to sandwiches. The pizzas include the Chicken BBQ Pizza, Pepperoni Pizza and Veggie Lover Pizza. The sandwiches include the Chicken Arabic Shawarma, Chicken Shawarma, Fajita Sandwich and Kebab Sandwich.

Friends aired between 1994 and 2004 and lasted for ten seasons. The cast included Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer, and Matthew Perry, who recently passed away. While the show revolved around friendship, there was food fun, from Joey dinking a gallon of milk in 10 seconds to Monica dancing with a turkey on her head. Remember: Joey doesn’t share food, so we’re not judging if you don’t, too.

Central Break in Dubai will be there for you.
