From Paris to Dubai: Bar des Prés by Cyril Lignac heads to DIFC

Located in ICD Brookfield Place, it is set to open in December.

Bar des Prés by Cyril Lignac can be found around the world from London to Paris. Now, it is making its way to ICD Brookfield Place, Dubai. Scheduled to open on 7 December, the venue will bring together French and East Asian cuisine.

In 2016, Bar des Prés by Cyril Lignac opened in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Paris. The Dubai opening marks the fourth location for the brand. Located on the 51st floor of ICD Brookfield Place in DIFC, the venue aims to combine French sophistication and Japanese individuality. Plus, visitors can enjoy uninterrupted views of the city’s skyline.

Lázaro Rosa-Violán’s design studio is behind the venue, which draws inspiration from the streets of Paris. The venue boasts bamboo features, copper tones and rattan accents, which showcase East Asian influences. Elements from the flagship restaurant have made their way to Dubai, from mustard-coloured marble tables to peacock-embroidered fabrics. And, at the heart of the venue is a sushi counter draped by a dramatic light installation.
