Sunset Hospitality Group is behind the new concept.
South Korean culture is taking over the globe, from K-pop bands to Oscar-worthy films. Now, a new Korean restaurant is heading to Dubai. Located at St. Regis Gardens on Palm Jumeirah, Hanu will be serving contemporary Korean cuisine.
Hanu in Dubai will be a family-friendly dining destination and great for groups. The restaurant will boast a traditional setting, and superb sharing dishes. As for the name, it refers to a Korean breed of cattle that is native to the country, and is a rare meat used for hanwoo beef. The meat is regarded as a premium beef, and gives us some idea of what to expect from the menu.
St.Regis Gardens is home to a range of restaurants. The concepts currently include the FACT Dining Award Dubai winner Trèsind Studio, which reimagines Indian cuisine. Plus, the French restaurant Chez Wam, Italian restaurant Signor Sassi. Hanu will be located next to the superb steakhouse spot LEÑA, and its omakase Smoked Room. Plus, a 1920s-inspired jazz bar, Aretha, is opening soon.
