Birch
Dubai is a hub for restaurants from around the world. Now, it has welcomed Birch from Russia. Located in The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai International Financial Centre, it prides itself on offering an international menu. Chef Arslan Berdiyev is the brainchild behind Birch. He wanted to create a restaurant that was not tied to a specific cuisine or geographic location. In 2017, he opened Birch in St Petersburg, and now the second venue has opened in Dubai. The restaurant boasts a contemporary and classy design. The space includes brown and beige tones, dim lighting and natural materials. Take your pick from round tables to countertop seats. Grab a table by the open kitchen and watch the chefs at work.

Daftar
Located in Al Fattan Currency House in DIFC, Daftar draws inspiration from Indian home cooking, and the spirit of Dubai. The aim is for every meal to feel like a celebration rather than a chore. In Hindi, the name of the restaurant translates to a small business office, and the teaser images online show typewriters, desks and old paintings. The food menu features buttery breads, flavour-packed biryanis, and spicy kebabs. The drinks menu will include fine and rare wines and traditional Indian drinks, from kulhhad chai to Madras filter coffee.

Ege
Ege at Dubai Creek Harbour brings the vibrant flavours of the Aegean coast to Dubai.
