If you love Italian food, we have some delicious news. Sagra Italian Pastificio has opened in Jumeirah 3, Dubai. The restaurant prides itself on its freshly made pasta, and even offers pasta making workshops.
Sagra Italian Pastificio has been created by Federica Ranieri. She is of Italian descent and brought her passion to the project. She previously worked in the corporate world and decided to launch her own restaurant. The venue boasts a beautiful décor with bright yellows and dark blues. The walls are adorned with photos of Italy, from Rome to Naples.
Sagra Italian Pastificio’s menu spans staters, salads, mains, desserts and pastries. Diners can build their own pasta. Sauces include Bolognese Ragu, Butter and Sage, Sicilian Red Pasta, Parmigiano and Butter, Three Tomatoes Sauce, Truffle Sauce, and White Lamb Ragu.
The salads include Buffallo Mozzarella Caprese Salad; Tuna, Potatoes and Olives Salad; and Panzanella Salad. The mains include Gnocchi Alla Sorrentina, Pappardelle White Lamb Bolognese, and Spaghetti Alla Chitarra with Red Sicilian Pesto. The desserts range from Panna Cotta to Tiramisu. Plus, the drinks menu includes Italian-inspired options: Caffe Leccese with almond and espresso, and Latte E Menta with milk and mint.
If you want to recreate the traditional tastes at home, you can take your pick from at-home pasta boxes and pasta making workshops. The classes include Sagra Little Chefs for children, which starts from AED 150, and Hand Rolled Egg Pasta for adults, which starts from AED 250.
