Dubai’s boasts one of the world’s most diverse dining scenes. Now, it is set to welcome a new omakase restaurant, KIGO. Located in Four Seasons DIFC, it will showcase the flavours of Japan. The concept is expected to open in 2024, and here’s what we know.

KIGO aims to offer an unparalleled culinary journey. The chefs will showcase their mastery of the art of omakase, using only the freshest seasonal ingredients to create a one-of-a-kind culinary experience.

KIGO describes itself as sophisticated yet approachable, clean yet intricate, and intimate yet simple. The name KIGO refers to words associated with a season and is used in traditional Japanese poetry. The omakase concept translates to leaving it up to the chef and giving them the freedom to create the meal.
