The new Japanese dining experience merges tradition with modernity.
Dubai’s dining scene is ever-evolving, with new concepts popping up almost daily. Among the exciting new additions is Kiyoshi, which brings a refined yet welcoming take on contemporary Japanese dining to Dubai Creek Harbour.
Kiyoshi’s interiors blend nature and urban elegance, drawing inspiration from traditional Japanese aesthetics and contemporary architecture. Influenced by the beauty of Mount Fuji, the space is enriched with bespoke details, from painted cherry blossoms on the terracotta tiles that lie behind the bar to laser-painted portraits and custom glass installations. Whether dining indoors or soaking in the Dubai Creek skyline from the terrace, guests are welcomed into a space that merges tradition with modernity.
The menu at Kiyoshi covers cold and raw dishes, hot specialities, kushiyaki and handrolls, and is the brainchild of Executive Chef Gabriel Martinez. Signature dishes include the Butternut Squash Misoyaki, a delicate blend of black sesame purée and pomegranate mint pesto, and the Tenderloin Avocado Tower, featuring sushi rice, snap peas, and a sweet soy glaze. The Riverina Beef Tataki, enhanced with truffle ponzu, scallions, and crispy shallots, and the Honey Miso Glazed Carrots are also popular choices.

Beyond the kitchen, Kiyoshi’s bar features elevated creations, such as the Kiyotini —a bold mix of vodka, cherry tomato, balsamic vinegar, and a hint of sweetness—and the Dancing Akiko, infused with kumquat, umeshu, and melon cordial, each crafted to enhance the dining experience.
As Fuse Holding’s debut homegrown concept, Kiyoshi sets the stage for future innovations, with the group soon introducing Isabel Mayfair and Hanbok to The Galleria Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi.
