Chef Tristin Farmer returns to Dubai with a homegrown culinary concept.
Dubai’s ever-evolving dining scene welcomes a new icon with the launch of Maison Dali, the latest concept from the Culinary Arts Group, set within the striking curves of The Opus by Zaha Hadid in Business Bay. The restaurant blends refined artistry and culinary flair into one distinctly Dubai dining destination.
The name Maison Dali is a nod to the Spanish artist Salvador Dali, and maison means home in French. So far, the group has created an Instagram account that teases diners about what they can expect. The promotional image includes an eye looking through a keyhole, and it is created in a fittingly surrealist way.
The homegrown concept merges gastronomy with art. This contemporary bistro reinvents European-inspired cuisine through the finesse of Japanese techniques, presenting a menu that is as playful as it is intriguing. Its elegantly designed interiors, adorned with enigmatic accents, create the perfect backdrop for an immersive culinary experience.
At the restaurant’s helm is Chef Tristin Farmer, a name synonymous with excellence who is no stranger to the region. He was previously the Chef Patron at Marina Social in Dubai and at the three-MICHELIN-starred Zen in Singapore.

The menu, a curated tapestry of fire, fermentation and finesse, is unapologetically inventive. Think King Crab Ceviche with fermented pineapple, trout roe and tarragon; Smoked Lobster Donabe infused with sansho and black truffle; and Wood-Fired Duck paired with hoisin and plum kosho. A flambé trolley adds a layer of tableside theatre, with dishes like Nishikawa A5 Tenderloin bathed in périgourdine sauce and the honeyed nostalgia of Maison Dali’s signature dessert toast.
The beverage programme is every bit as theatrical as the food. Aptly titled BARTENDER, the cocktail list is inspired by the seven classical art forms. For those abstaining, the zero-proof offering is just as elevated. Divided into three profiles — Clear, Light, and Dark — the non-alcoholic pours mirror the complexity of wine and sake. Signature serves include French Rose, a da hong pao kombucha with a citrusy twist and White Grape, brewed from roasted milk bread and jasmine.

Within a dreamlike space inspired by the surreal works of Salvador Dalí, guests are invited to step into a world where brasserie classics are reimagined through Chef Tristin’s balance of precision and playfulness.
Hidden within the venue lies the Dali Supper Club, an exclusive late-night enclave set to be revealed in the weeks ahead.
