Avatara is Dubai’s first and only all-vegetarian degustation fine dining experience. The restaurant has recently moved from Voco Dubai to Dubai Hills Business Park. Helmed by culinary maestro Chef Rahul Rana, the restaurant showcases a modern twist on soulful Indian cuisine. Using fresh, local ingredients and catering to vegan and gluten-free diets, Avatara aims to break through the limited perceptions of vegetarian food and offer an unforgettable dining experience.

Croq’Michel 

This one is for all sandwich enthusiasts. Renowned French chef Michel Sarran has opened his first Middle Eastern outpost in Dubai. Croq’Michel is the name of this new concept, which focuses on the croque monsieur – a traditional French sandwich with a twist. Each sandwich is named after a city that inspired Sarran and boasts a unique flavour combination. Vegetarians can enjoy a croque filled with veggies, while dessert lovers can indulge in a brioche toast sandwich as well.

Dubai’s food scene continues to surprise us with exciting new offerings. Duo Gastrobar, a mysterious new addition, is yet another example. Billing itself as a gastrobar, it’s clear that this place will serve up delicious bites with a licence to keep you refreshed. Here, Chef Dmitry Blinov’s creations speak volumes. The Broccoli Pate with Pine Nuts, a nutritious delight, dances harmoniously with a brioche. The Yellow Zucchini, resting on a bed of Parmesan sauce, topped with Pumpkin Seeds, embodies the philosophy that simplicity can be truly satisfying.

FACT’s Chef of the Year 2022, Reif Othman is expanding his culinary empire with the highly anticipated Hoe Lee Kow and it seems that there is nothing this multi-talented chef can’t do. The new restaurant offers an exciting menu of unconventional Korean BBQ dishes that are sure to excite Korean food fans. The venue seats up to 88 guests with bright, bold murals.


Joe & The Juice 

Dubai’s casual dining scene is about to get a boost with the arrival of Joe & The Juice. This Danish coffee shop brand has been expanding rapidly across the city, with the latest one at Dubai Hills Business Park. Known for its healthy eats and delicious sarnies, guests can look forward to trying the popular Joe’s Club and spicy Tuna sandwiches, as well as the brand’s signature shakes.

MOLI by SHI takes after its parent establishment SHI Restaurant on Bluewaters Island. While details about this new outpost are still under wraps, you can prepare for an opulent escapade into the world of upscale Chinese cuisine. This new Pitfire Pizza Dubai Hills branch — like the four others — promises a casual and inviting ambience. What makes this Pitfire different is that it’s the first one in the UAE to be licensed. Pitfire Pizza Dubai Hills will not only serve their legendary artisanal sourdough pizzas but also cocktails and craft beers. The menu includes favourites found in its other outlets, such as The Hipster, Spudnick and FACT favourite, The Palm. However, the Dubai Hills location also features menu items that are not found elsewhere.
