The new restaurant is located at St Regis Gardens on Palm Jumeirah.

Dubai, the restaurant scene is sizzling. The fine dining restaurant, Smoked Room, has opened at St Regis Gardens. Created by the award-winning chef, Dani García, it pays homage to the fire style of cooking.

Smoked Room is the sister restaurant to Leña and draws inspiration from its original restaurant in Madrid, which holds two MICHELIN Stars. The venue has only 14 seats, and offers an exclusive and personalised dining experience. In Japan, the omakase experience means leaving everything up to the chef.

Smoked Room

At Smoked Room the tasting menu focuses on seasonal produce and the essence of smoke, which defines each dish. The dishes have been created using smoke and embers to add depth to the flavours.

Dani García was born in Marbella, and has made his mark as one of the world’s most accomplished chefs. After winning his MICHELIN Stars, he was keen to create and share affordable Andalusian food around the world.

While he has a restaurant in New York called Casa Dani, which translates into Dani’s house, he has also worked with the likes of McDonald’s – yes, really. On the McDonald’s menu, you can find the Signature Collection by Dani García, which includes a goat’s cheese burger with Spanish beef, caramelised onion and Batavia lettuce.

Smoked Room

Smoked Room’s Fire Omakase experience starts from AED 950 per person. Guests can opt for wine or tea pairings, which range from AED 590 with seven glasses and AED 175 with seven cups per person, respectively.

Smoked Room in Dubai is open Wednesday to Sunday from 8pm.
