Grab a slice and enjoy the Dubai Marina views.

It’s time to say caio to Papas. The new neighbourhood Italian restaurant has opened in Dubai Marina. The concept aims to bring Italian hospitality to the city with its buzzing eatery. So, grab a slice or three, and enjoy the double tap-worthy views.

Located on the lower ground floor of Intercontinental Dubai Marina, the space boasts indoor and outdoor seats, which span a bar and restaurant space. The entrance includes the logo in a bright neon light, and an old-school car to capture a shot in.

Culinary Director and Executive Chef, Robert Rathbone, and his team have a menu that pays homage to history and family recipes. The menu showcases Italian culinary traditions and is inspired by the country’s classic trattorias. The dishes are superb for sharing and include Panzanella, Nduja and Burrata Pizza, Sicilian Cannoli and Veal Ossobuco.

Papas in Dubai will also host weekly events, from a ladies’ night with pizza, pasta and prosecco, to a Friday aperitivo hour to start the weekend. Plus, a brunch that celebrates Italian food and drink, and includes Aperols, limoncello and negronis.

Papas in Dubai

Papas in Dubai has been created by the hospitality firm Solutions Group. If its previous ventures are anything to go by, the new restaurant looks set to be a crowd pleaser. The group also were behind the restaurants and bars Asia Asia, KOYO and the FACT Dining Award winning Lock, Stock & Barrel and Ula.

Papas in Dubai is open Sunday to Thursday from 6pm to 12am, and Friday and Saturday from and 6pm to 1am.
