How do pizzas and pastas with a view sound to you? Well, if that has got your mouth watering, we have some tasty news. Public La Terrazza has re-opened at the Museum of the Future, bringing comfort food to this classy spot.
While Public is known for its terrific takeaway pizzas, we’d recommend heading to the pop-up at Museum of the Future. Look out for the bright orange cart, counter and umbrellas, and you’ll find the pop-up located by the beautiful building. The site is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, which is served outdoors with those Insta-worthy views.
Public La Terrazza’s breakfast dishes range from healthy to hearty. They include Blueberry Granola, Blueberry Pancakes, Cinnamon French Toast, and Public Acai. The items are served on pretty plates with bright colours and intricate designs.
The pizzas include BBQ Ring with BBQ ranch, wagyu beef and short ribs; Buffalo with buffalo sauce, chicken and Padano cheese; Sweet Peppe with pepperoni, honey and basil; and Truffle Shuffle with truffle cream and mozzarella. The pastas and risottos include Crazy Truffle, Crispy Lasagna, Grandma’s Spaghetti, Lobster Spaghetti, Saffron Shrimp Risotti, Spicy Rigatoni, Truffle Tagliolini and Veal Lemon.
While Public has plenty to offer, its tiramisu is definitely the most beloved. Served table-side from a family-size bowl, this dessert is presented along with theatrics by the staff. It offers a blend of mascarpone cheese that’s smooth and creamy, without being sticky, combined with biscuits that are perfectly soft and moist. Topped off with a drizzle — or more if you like — of espresso, this Tiramisu is as good as it gets. And while it’s enough to feed two, you might just want it all for yourself.
The Museum of the Future opened in February 2022. If you haven’t been yet, it showcases innovative solutions for the future of cities. Check out the exhibition spaces, which are dedicated to climate change, health and technology.
Public can also be found in Dubai Mall in Dubai and at Al Dhabab and Boulevard City in Riyadh. Public La Terrazza at Museum of the Future is open Monday to Thursday from 9am to midnight, and Friday to Sunday from 9am to 1am.
