The new openings include Aretha, Eugène Eugène and XU.

Dubai, you’re in for dining delights. RIKAS Hospitality Group has announced the opening of seven new restaurants and bars. The concepts include the brasserie Eugène Eugène, Cantonese restaurant XU, live music venue Aretha; a redefined Lana Lusa; expansion for Ninive and Madeleine & Marcel; and a yet-to-be-unveiled concept.

RIKAS Hospitality Group and Executive Chef Gilles Bosquet will oversee the openings. Scheduled to open in September, Eugène Eugène is a modern brasserie. Bringing chic to the city, it will be located inside Kempinski Mall of the Emirates. The décor draws its inspiration from greenhouses, and will include a gorgeous garden.

The dishes include Truffle and Artichoke Spinach, Vanilla Tomato Tartare, Osso Bucco Saffron Risotto, Sea Bream a la Plancha, Foie Gras and Duck Salad. Plus, desserts range from Pistachio Soufflé to Red Fruit Pavlova.

RIKAS Hospitality Group will welcome its first Cantonese restaurant and bar to its collection. Scheduled to open in October, XU will also be located in Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates. The décor will celebrate the cool subcultures of China’s big cities. Chef Min Wei Lai is behind XU’s menu, which will showcase Cantonese specialities.

The new restaurant, bar and lounge, Aretha, is set to open in The St. Regis Garden, Palm Jumeirah. Inspired by the Swinging Sixties and we assume the singer Aretha Franklin, it will be home to live soul and funk music.
