SALT Marsa Al Arab opens at Jumeirah Beach in Dubai
The homegrown brand offers brilliant burgers and soft serve ice cream.
Foodies, we have some delicious news. SALT has opened in Marsa Al Arab, Dubai, and it is offering brilliant burgers. The homegrown brand has opened a new space, and it is in a dreamy destination overlooking the marina and yachts.
SALT latest location can be found inside the soon-to-open Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab Hotel on Jumeirah Beach, and is close to the iconic Burj Al Arab. Lookout for the SALT logo, and the tag line “Happy Salting” and “Feeling Salty” on the wall. The sign leads to a sleek space that includes a minimalist, monochrome aesthetic.
The venue has black and white chairs and tables, which range from soft seats to long sofas. The seating spans indoors and outdoors – don’t worry there is shade. Plus, the design is punctuated by potted plants and paintings on the wall, which add bursts of colour.
SALT is best known for its ice cream and burgers. SALT Marsa Al Arab includes firm favourites and new additions. The Mango Cheesecake Softie has been added to the menu and is an ice cream topped with sauce.
Salt is a Dubai-based brand, which started life as a food truck back in 2014. The business was launched by Emirati entrepreneur Amal Al Marri and Saudi entrepreneur Deem AlBassam. The company are famed for utilising social media to create a buzz, as fans would have to find its next location online. Previous locations include Louvre Abu Dhabi and Museum of the Future in the UAE, and Salt Fridge Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.
