Between its resident DJs, opulent interiors, artworks by Damien Hirst and Frank Gehry, and a diverse menu inspired by the seas of Asia, Sexy Fish has won rave reviews since its London debut in 2015. The trendy restaurant and bar currently operates three restaurants—one in London, one in Manchester, and another in Miami—and is gearing up for its new venue in Dubai.
Building on the allure of its locations in Mayfair London, Miami, and Manchester, the soon-to-launch Sexy Fish Dubai promises an immersive experience, blending exclusive Damien Hirst artworks with an elevated Japanese-inspired menu, cocktails, and entertainment.
Guests enter Sexy Fish Dubai through a dedicated lift in Innovation One. Stepping out, they’re immediately transported to an underwater-inspired world, with a breathtaking rooftop reception. At its centre stands a striking aqua-blue mirrored desk, backed by a coral reef wall featuring over two million hand-painted coral pieces and crowned by an iconic Damien Hirst octopus sculpture suspended in mid-air.
The expansive main dining area and bar are adorned with columns resembling octopus tentacles, intricately wrapped in hand-blown Murano glass. Damien Hirst’s art graces the space, with bronze mermaids framing the custom-made bar, handcrafted in Dubai from two types of onyx and illuminated by bespoke fish pendant lights by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio. Embroidered furnishings and bar stools evoke a sense of oceanic wonder, complemented by Venetian hand-blown jellyfish table lamps.
Led by Global Chef Director Bjoern Weissgerber, the menu offers a seasonal selection of sushi, sashimi, tartare, and nigiri alongside meat and seafood grilled on the Robata. Designed for sharing, the menu highlights Sexy Fish signature dishes like Caramelised Black Cod and Crispy Duck & Watermelon Salad, as well as platters featuring seasonal fish and shellfish, simply prepared and elegantly enhanced with yuzu and chilli.
Exclusive to Sexy Fish Dubai are new creations such as Scallop Ceviche with Cucumber & Shiso, Beef Carpaccio with Uni & Bone Marrow, and Sexy Udon infused with White Truffle. The dessert selection features golden chocolate-filled treasure boxes, the signature “cool dates,” and the ultimate Sexy Fish cheesecake.
