Sharjah has been welcoming a range of new cafés and restaurants. Now, Baitna Cafe has opened and prides itself on being the highest floor speciality cafe in the UAE. So, if you’re after views with your coffee and cake, here’s what you need to know.
Baitna Cafe is located on the 30th floor of Tabark Tower in Al Mamzar. On Instagram, it has teased visitors about what to expect and has now officially opened its doors. The tagline reads: “Your home high above Sharjah’s skyline”.
The venue boasts indoor and outdoor spaces, which make the most of the Insta-worthy views. The floor-to-ceiling windows let in lots of light and overlook the sand, sea and sunsets. The design is muted and minimalist, with white tables and chairs and industrial chic touches such as exposed piping. Plus, there are pops of colour, thanks to the yellow cushions and green plants hanging from the ceiling.
Baitna Cafe serves hot and cold drinks, and a range of snacks and sandwiches. Head to the counter to see the cakes, cookies and more, which are artfully presented. The pastries include Apple Pie Tart, Banana Loaf, Lemon Tart Meringue, San Sebastian Cheesecake, Sticky Date Pudding and Swedish Bun.
Cookies range from Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies to Double Chocolate Cookies. Croissants come in Cinnamon, Chocolate, Feta and Sesame or Zaatar iterations. Sandwiches include a BBQ Pastrami, Breakfast Sandwich and Smoked Turkey and Dijon.
Baitna Cafe is open daily from 7am to midnight.
