The MICHELIN Starred restaurants offer a one-off dining experience.
MICHELIN magic is set to happen, as two restaurants with one MICHELIN Star are joining forces. Smoked Room Dubai and Orfali Bros will create a one-off culinary collaboration on Monday, 9 September and here’s how to get a seat at the table.
Orfali Bros hit the headlines when it topped The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. It has also won FACT Dining Award Dubai, and appeared on the Netflix show, Somebody Feed Phil. The restaurant is led by three chef brothers from Aleppo, Syria. The menu brings together ingredients, techniques, and influences from around the world to create a unique take on Arabic cuisine.
Dani García is behind Smoked Room Dubai, which prides itself on its open fire and grilled cooking experience. Smoked Room Dubai is the sister restaurant to Leña and draws inspiration from its original restaurant in Madrid, which holds two MICHELIN Stars. The venue has only 14 seats, and offers an exclusive and personalised dining experience. In Japan, the omakase experience means leaving everything up to the chef.
The four-hands dinner will take place at Smoked Room located at St. Regis Gardens on The Palm Jumeirah. Diners can try both of the restaurants’ signature dishes, and the combined influences. Dani Garcia from Smoked Room and Mohamad Orfali from Orfali Bros will create a menu that takes you around the world. Expect flavours from Andalusia, Japan, Aleppo, France, and influences from Italy and Spain.
The four-hand dinner with Smoked Room Dubai and Orfali Bros has two sittings: one at 6pm and a second at 9pm The menu starts from AED 1,200.
