The rustic restaurant is located in Sunset Mall.

Dubai has welcomed a new Spanish restaurant. Toronja has opened in Jumeirah 3, and showcases Andalusian-inspired food. The venue is located on the ground floor of Sunset Mall, and here’s what you need to know.

Toronja’s menu has been created by the chef Jorge Perez Blay. He has previously worked across the world, from London to the UAE. He has worked at Le Meridien Dubai and Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates Dubai. Now, he is bringing his expertise to this new restaurant, which showcases Spanish flavours.

Toronja

Toronja describes itself as offering a Spanish fusion. The menu is great for groups and specialises in paellas and tapas. The dishes span small and large plates and include brochetas, bravas, ceviche, dessert and more.

Toronja is a smart spot with a fresh, modern aesthetic. The exterior is sleek with white walls, curved windows, and the black logo. Inside, there is a monochrome look with white floors and walls, and a black and white bar. The space is great for groups and includes brown banquettes, which range from curved to long, green plush seats, indoor plants and a tiled floor.

Sunset Mall is home to a range of restaurants and shops. The eateries include Baskin Robbins, Beit Em Noor, Block 92, Pappa Roti and Wafi Gourmet. The selection of shops includes Ahmed Seddiqi and Sons, Fashion Vault, Nasayem Al Dar, Shell Designs and Yataghan Jewellery.

Toronja will be open daily from 1pm to midnight.
