Enjoy fusion food in a sultry setting.

Besar is bringing Spanish fusion food to Dubai. The new restaurant is heading to Bluewaters Dubai. The opening date has not yet been confirmed, but here’s what we do know.

In Spanish, besar means kiss. The site for the brand states: “be ready to indulge in a culinary journey like no other”. So far, we know that the menu will be inspired by Andalusian history, and bring fusion flavours onto the plate.

Besar in Dubai has unveiled a range of photos that offer a teaser of what to expect, which include images of the food, drink and interiors. The shots show a sultry setting with terracotta and red tones, alongside beiges and browns. One caption on Instagram reads: “Step into a realm where Moorish grandeur meets Spanish elegance. Our Mudejar-inspired interiors offer more than just a setting; they are a journey back in time, woven with the threads of royal history.”

Bluewaters Dubai is home to a range of bars, cafés and restaurants, and Besar will be in good culinary company. The restaurants include 88 Treehouse for fusion food; Alici for Southern Italy food inspired by the Amalfi Coast; Brass Money for bowling, games and pub food; and Clay for Nikkei, Japanese-Peruvian cuisine.
