The Black Sheep in JLT is Dubai’s new British gastropub

This new JLT hangout feels like an old-fashioned English pub – a fireplace, anyone?

There’s a new homegrown brand in the UAE. The gastropub The Black Sheep will be opening at Pullman Hotel Jumeirah Lake Towers in Dubai, and is set to be a super spot for two pints of lager, a packet of crisps and British grub.

Located near Sobha Realty metro station and in Cluster T, The Black Sheep is a charming space for drinks or dinner. The venue boasts a bar, dining area and beer garden. The décor echoes an old-fashioned English pub, and includes Chesterfield sofas, exposed brick walls, dark green walls and even a fireplace. Plus, in the future it will host live music events.

The Black Sheep in JLT serves British pub food. The menu is packed with comfort classics, and covers starters, mains and desserts. Plus, the bar snacks range from Scotch Eggs to Sausage Rolls with brown sauce, naturally. 

The starters range from Chicken Liver Pâté to Crayfish and Shrimp Salad. The mains include Beer Battered Haddock, Chicken Schnitzel with mustard mash, Sunday Roast and the pie of the day with different fillings. The desserts include Bramley Apple Crumble, Eton Mess and doughnuts with chocolate sauce. 

Children are also welcome at The Black Sheep, as there is a dedicated kid’s menu. The dishes include Fish and Chips, Mini Chicken Sausages and Mash and more. Plus, drinks include British hops and wines, continental craft beers and premium spirits.

The Black Sheep in JLT is open daily from noon to 2am. Cheers to that.
