The FACT Award winning 21grams will host a Gather for Gaza dinner

The dinner takes place on 22 January in Mayan Mall.

The war in Gaza has now reached 100 days. As the news continues to hit the headlines, the UAE has organised a range of events to support the victims. Soul Collective DXB has announced a Gather for Gaza dinner, which takes place at 21grams on 22 January and aims to raise money for Gaza.

The FACT Dining Award Dubai winner, 21grams, is loved for its Balkan dishes and drinks. The café has a loyal fan base among the community and critics – including the FACT Editor-in-Chief. Located on the second floor of Meyan Mall in Umm Suqeim, the café opened in January 2018. 

21grams prides itself on being a relaxed, all-day dining venue. The menu is filled with handmade dishes and pastries, which have been created with ingredients sourced from local farmers. The Balkan-inspired dishes range from Breaded Chicken Schnitzel to Pljeskavica.

The 21grams Gather for Gaza dinner event includes food and drinks. The offering is great for groups, as it will be a sharing-style menu. The ticket value will be donated to The Little Wings in partnership with Al Jalila Foundation. The funds aim to provide medical assistance for children in Gaza. 

Gather for Gaza started on 30 October 2023. Hosted by Hattem Mattar, the first event raised more than AED 125,000. Previous events included a listening session at Honeycomb Hi-Fi, and lunch at BOCA. Plus, events at 71 Steak and Grill, Reif Othman’s Hoe Lee Kow and Zin. 

Tickets for Gather for Gaza are available now. Tier one tickets start from AED 500, tier two tickets start from AED 1,000, and tier three tickets start from AED 2,000.
