Head Chef Brando Moros will cook Columbian food in the secret space.

Dubai is filled with dining destinations. One that has garnered plenty of critical acclaim and a MICHELIN Star, is 11 Woodfire. Located on Jumeirah Beach Road, it is famous for its open-flame cooking, which is inspired by hunting and gathering. Now, it has expanded and opened The Heritage Room.

The Heritage Room is a secret space inside 11 Woodfire. Here, Head Chef Brando Moros draws inspiration from his Columbian heritage and culture to create a special six-course menu. The space will also be open to chefs who want to explore their own cultural heritage through the medium of food.

So far, we know that The Heritage Room will be a more intimate space and a place that feels nostalgic. The debonaire dining room will feel like a cross between a chef’s table and a kitchen.

On Instagram, Panchali Mahendra, CEO of Atelier House Hospitality, shared images of a dish being plated. She posted: “Presenting the first preview of The Heritage Room by 11 Woodfire where our Head Chef, Brando will take you through his cooking journey on fire. 11 Woodfire’s first tasting menu will be showcased in the secret room that will now open to the public after two and a half years. Get ready for heat, smoke and lots of good food and culture!”

11 Woodfire opened in 2022 and created a buzz on Dubai’s dining scene. The concept was created by Atelier House Hospitality in partnership with the acclaimed Singaporean chef Akmal Anuar, who is behind Goldfish Sushi & Yakitori and Osteria Funkcoolio.
