Martín Berasategui, Jean Imbert and Angelo Musa all have restaurants inside Dubai’s newest hotel. 

As the Dorchester Collection prepares to open its first hotel in the Middle East, it has bought together big name, blockbuster chefs. The Lana, Dorchester Collection, Dubai will welcome creative concepts from Angelo Musa, Jean Imbert and Martín Berasategui.

Scheduled to open in February in Downtown Dubai, The Lana, Dorchester Collection, Dubai will be a dining destination. The hotel has been designed by the award-winning architecture firm, Foster + Partners. Plus, Gilles & Boissier is behind the interiors. As the opening date approaches, three of the culinary concepts are already accepting reservations. Here’s how to make a booking.

Riviera by Jean Imbert

Riviera by Jean Imbert will be a modern Mediterranean restaurant inspired by Jean’s travels. It will also be his first restaurant in the Middle East. Located on the fourth floor of the hotel, it will be open for an a la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner. He is also behind the rooftop bar, High Society, which will serve an extensive range of Champagnes, wines and spirits. Plus, there will be Insta-worthy views of the Burj Khalifa.

The Lana

High Society

True to its name, High Society dazzles with potent energy and exclusivity at the very top of The Lana. The Gallery

Experience lobby life at The Lana sparkles with the sunshine of the marina infused with an air of sophisticated delight. The Gallery is the place to enjoy coffee and cake or an indulgent afternoon tea while luxuriating in an environment of soft furnishings, tiled floors, marble shelving and floor-to-ceiling drapes.

The Lana

Jara by Martín Berasategui has been developed by Martín Berasategui. Over his career, he has been behind MICHELIN-starred venues. Jara will be his first restaurant in the Middle East and a rarity in Dubai. Located on the 18th floor, the menu showcases Basque cuisine and is named after Martín’s own granddaughter Jara. Reservations for Jara will open soon.

Elsewhere, Bonbon Café Angelo Musa adds a touch of sweetness to the hotel. The pâtisserie serves freshly baked bread, chocolate bonbons, ice cream, sandwiches, salads and more. Plus, Angelo will lead the boulangerie and pâtisserie programme in the hotel.

Other venues in The Lana, Dorchester Collection, Dubai include the garden bar Veranda, and the lobby bar Bitter Honey, while Txakolina is a speakeasy bar boasting old-school touches, from Cuban cigars to vinyl records.
