Scheduled to open in 2024, the market showcases international cuisine.

We love food markets at FACT. So, we are excited to hear about the new food market coming to Dubai – Timbuktu Market. Scheduled to open in 2024, the market will be located in Two Towers, Barsha Heights.

Timbuktu Market in Dubai has the taglines “a world of flavours” and “a place to connect”. The concept draws its inspiration from some of the world’s most famous markets, from London to New York, and is hoping to put Dubai’s food market on the map.

Timbuktu Market in Dubai is being led by Hani Al Malki, a food blogger in the city. With more than 23,000 Instagram followers, he is bringing his expertise to the market.

Timbuktu Market in Dubai will bring together bakers, home chefs, pop-ups, supper clubs, and brand-new concepts all under one roof. The market aims to showcase a diverse range of food, which highlights how the city is a melting pot. Plus, the creators aim to introduce different types of international cuisine to Dubai’s dining scene.

The market will be a casual, welcoming venue, which hopes to make food accessible. Great for groups, the setting will include communal seats, so you can catch up with friends or create new connections. Judging from the latest images, it looks set to be a cool, contemporary space. The décor has an industrial chic vibe with brown brick walls, grey floors and black long tables.

Timbuktu Market in Dubai will be a hip hangout spot, as it is not just about food. Not only will it boast a shop selling local produce, but the homegrown cycling studio, Motion Cycling.

Our stomachs are already rumbling.
